R. Joe Clark, Special Agent in Charge of the Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced today that FBI Director Robert S. Mueller will be in Knoxville tomorrow, June 29, 2006, to meet with employees of the Knoxville Division of the FBI as well as with managers from other regional FBI divisions.

He will host an open question and answer session with the media. The press availability session will be from 2:55 p.m. until 3:10 p.m. in Room 126 of the John J. Duncan Federal Office Building, 710 Locust Street, Knoxville, Tennessee 37902.

The Director plans to make a brief statement concerning national and local issues involving the FBI.

Media representatives attending the event will need to show proof of identity and allow enough time to pass through building security. Any media outlet sending a representative is asked to advise Special Agent Gary Kidder of the Knoxville office at 865/544-3556. There is limited space.
