NEWS RELEASE


The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced the arrest today of Charles E.Bush for Internet Fraud.

The arrest was based on an authorized complaint signed in the Eastern District of Tennessee on November 17, 2006, charging Bush with defrauding an individual by means of the Internet, a violation of Title 18 United States Code, Section 1343 - Wire Fraud. The maximum penalty for the violation is 20 years imprisonment and/or a fine.

Bush, age 52, was arrested by Special Agents of the FBI without incident at his residence in Seymour, Tennessee, this morning.

Bush will be afforded an initial appearance before a United States Magistrate at Knoxville this afternoon.

The public is reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
