FBI and KCSO announce names of bank robbing couple:

 

The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Chief Deputy Tom Spangler of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the pair who robbed two Knoxville banks.

Tips which resulted from the media coverage afforded the two robberies led authorities to identify: Roy Lester, age 40, as the robber of the Community South Bank on Wednesday October 17 th; and Deanna Combs, age 35, as the robber of the First Tennessee Bank on Parkside Drive on Saturday, October 20 th. Both show Knoxville addresses. Warrants for both have been obtained by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 865/544-0751, or the KCSO at 865/215-2243. The public is reminded not to approach these individuals, but to contact law enforcement.
