The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Farragut Folklife Museum invite the community to a special presentation - The FBI: 100 Years of Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity" - led by Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Richard Lambert on Monday, April 7, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at the Farragut Town Hall. The ceremony will kick off a special display at the Museum from April through July. The presentation is free to the public. SAC Lambert's presentation will highlight the FBI’s many contributions to the safety and security of our nation over the last 100 years. The presentation will focus on the major criminal, foreign intelligence, and terrorism threats transcending our country’s history and the role of the FBI in combating those threats through collaborative partnerships with those we serve. It is also intended to provide a brief overview of the FBI’s mission and to acknowledge the FBI’s single greatest asset in confronting the ever evolving challenges which threaten our freedoms – the help and assistance of the American people. Attendees are encouraged to tour the museum during the evening and view the FBI exhibit recognizing the FBI's 100 year anniversary. The exhibit will include items pertaining to the FBI in general and the FBI in Eastern Tennessee in particular. |
