NEWS RELEASE:

Richard L. Lambert, Special Agent in Charge of the Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is pleased to announce that groundbreaking of the FBI's new office building will commence on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.

The building, which is being developed by Carnegie Management and Development Corporation of Westlake, Ohio, will be located in the Dowell Springs business park development located on Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville. "I am pleased and honored that our company has been chosen to develop this important government facility. We believe our mission is simple: build the highest quality, most secure, user friendly facility that we can, to ease the FBI's ability to perform their ever-changing, very complex job of protecting the citizens of this country," said Dr. Rustom Khouri, the President of the company. Dr. Khouri, whose company will lease the building to the government, said the location was chosen based on contract requirements.

Founded in 1984, Carnegie began as a "Build-to-Suit" company. It has since grown into a full-service real estate development and management company, with its focus on long-term asset-based growth. Based in Westlake, Ohio, Carnegie owns property in eighteen states, including over 7.5 million square feet of government offices, general offices and retail space.

The new FBI building's architect is Westlake Reed Leskosky, of Cleveland, Ohio. McCarty Holsaple McCarty of Knoxville, Tennessee, will serve as the Project Manager on behalf of Carnegie Management & Development Corporation. VISION Engineering of Knoxville, Tennessee, will serve as the Civil Engineer, and Blaine Construction of Knoxville, Tennessee, will serve as the Construction Manager of the building.
